Sunday is a great day for family time. With it being the mayday bank holiday weekend, we realise that many of you will want to travel further afield, so our theme for this weekend and Monday, of course, is the best things to do around the UK with kids. If you're staying home, we're sure we'll cover something in the vicinity by the time we're through.

Legoland Windsor needs no introduction; this has been a favourite among kids and adults alike for years. Why not give it a go and see the lego models for yourself. The theme park isn't too shabby, either.

Knockhatch is in Hailsham in England; it is a farm, a soft play, a water park, and a small theme park all rolled into one, and the kids are sure to love it.

Camera Obscura and World of Illusions in Edinburgh is a day packed full of illusions, laughs and mind-blowing effects, tricks and puzzles.

Hever Castle in Kent in England is the birthplace of Henry the VIII's second wife, Anne Boleyn. This is a fascinating and fun place for kids and parents. See where Henry the VII slept, a miniature medieval village and a wooden playground to explore.

Elie Chainwalk in Scotland is the only one of its kind in the UK and possibly the world. It is a coastal climb and hike along the rocks that chains installed by the Fife council facilitate. The climb is not for the faint of heart, and it's best to check tide times, but it is a great adventure with beautiful scenery.
