077 - Road maze / hockey / three- legged race / seashell art / totem poles

Good day mums and dads, Thursday's newsletter is here, and we've packed it full of fun activities you can do with the kids outdoors. Getting outdoors is so important no matter the weather, and with the nicer weather on its way, it's time to get outdoors and have fun.

  1. Make a tape road maze in the back garden that the kids have to navigate their radio control toys through.

  2. Play a game of hockey with the neighbours or with the kid's friends. This will help them remember how to play team sports.

  3. Hold a mini sports day complete with a three-legged race, wheelbarrow race and egg and spoon. Don't forget the treats for the winners.

  4. Hit the beach and collect some seashells to make some seashell art. This is especially easy if you live near the coast. An after-dinner stroll and an art activity to keep the kids busy in the evening is a nice way to relax and unwind.

  5. Collect old kitchen roll tubes and toilet paper tubes and when you have enough, make some cool totem poles in your garden. Paint, stick, glue and colour the totems to represent your family to the neighbours.
