Get the kids involved in the Sunday clean in preparation for the week ahead. You’ll be amazed how involved they will get with housework and cleaning duties if they feel it’s a joint effort and they’re making a real contribution.

Have your kids pull weeds, bear with me, I know this one sounds strange. Pay the kids a penny a weed and you will be amazed how quickly they get out into the garden and start pulling the weeds.

Have a Sunday night bonfire or fire pit, even better, get some marshmallows for toasting and relax around the fire before bath and bedtime.
