050 - Easter masks / grocery shopping / egg shakers / frozen egg / bunny tag

Yippee, it's Friday, happy Friday, mums and dads. Does anyone else have that Friday feeling today, knowing it's Easter and a long weekend? I am quite excited at the thought that I don't have to go to work on Monday, and I have even more time to spend with my kiddos having The Daily Kids fun. We are here to bring you your daily dose of activities, and this week we are, of course, Easter-themed.

  1. Make some Easter masks with the kids, make them bunny-shaped or chick shaped. Passionate moms have a youtube tutorial on easter bunny mask making.

  2. Go grocery shopping, Okay, so you probably wonder why this is on an activity page to do with the kids. That sounds like a nightmare. But, it's Easter, the kids can help choose all of the delicious goodies that will go towards Easter dinner. That is pretty exciting.

  3. Make some egg shakers. This is an easy one. You will no doubt have some plastic eggs lying around your house from all of the easter sweets. Fill them with rice or dried beans, or chickpeas for sensory shaker fun.

  4. Make a frozen easter egg. This is an easter take on the frozen water balloon STEM activity, it's great fun, and you can find instructions over on alcademics site.

  5. Why play tag when you can play bunny tag? This is an Easter spin on the original game of tag. One kid is the dog, and he/she has to chase the other kids who are bunnies. Tag with a difference.

Don't forget to subscribe to our The Daily Kids newsletter for lots of ideas and activities directly to your inbox daily.
