046 - Easter wreath / Easter cookies / egg mosaic / crispies / play bunny

Hello fellow parents, it's the start of a new week and the run-up to Easter Sunday. The Daily Kids has a whole week packed full of Easter activities and ideas you can do with the kids. If you are lucky enough to be on holiday this week, you will be able to make the most of the outdoors, the lighter nights and the warmer weather, and we have some brilliant ideas to keep you going. We've included lots of arts and crafts this week, too, so you will have something fun to do no matter what the Great British weather decides to do.

  1. Make an Easter wreath. Welcome in Easter with a wreath for the door. You could make it nest themed, or bunny themed and don't forget to stick some little painted eggs on it. Country living has some great inspiration and instructions.

  2. Bake some Easter cookies, bunnies, chicks, ducks and eggs are all cute cookie ideas, and BBC good food has some delicious recipes.

  3. Why not make an Easter egg mosaic with your little ones. It's a whole heap of icky sticky, messy fun the kids will love, and sugar and charm have some great mosaic ideas to help you get started.

  4. Make chocolate easter nest crispies. We are probably all familiar with the crispy cake idea, but just in case you need a reminder, BBC good food has some good recipes.

  5. Play bunny, bunny, rabbit. This is a great way to get kids to burn off some energy or sugar from all the chocolate. This is an easter version of the old classic duck, duck, goose.
