  • Bake some fresh cakes, this is an obvious one but I discovered a twist this week. My local farm has a food shop which means it stays open during lockdown. • If like me you struggle to get the kids to give up the screen time codeakid have a comprehensive list of the best coding games for kids. If they must play on the computer, they might as well learn a skill while doing it.

  • Help your child learn math at home with mathalink activity cubes. These are fun and engaging and will keep your little one happy while they learn.

  • Build a mud kitchen. This keeps younger kids entertained for hours, although you might need to eat a mud pie or two. It’s a great way to get them out in the fresh air.
